My New Speaker Reel!
More than a decade ago, I began my career in developing leaders.
Previously, I had worked as a professor for nine years and had spoken publicly many times during my position at Microsoft. So while I had some previous experience speaking in front of an audience, it wasn't something that came naturally. But as my career progressed, I knew that this would become a bigger and bigger part of what I do.
Eventually, I took a risk and bet on myself, and I've now given keynote speeches globally to countless companies and audiences on almost all of the topics I love to talk about!
Before I realized it, I was getting a lot of speaking opportunities through word of mouth. I felt honored that people were influenced by my keynotes and workshops, and I was getting responses from participants who had taken action and changed the course of their careers. So while I had set out initially to be a one-on-one coach, I found a true passion in keynote speaking.
That brings me to today. For the first time ever, I have a speaker reel! I haven't shared this with anyone yet, and I'd love for you to check it out and let me know what you think. So without any further ado, here it is:
And of course, if you know of someone who needs a keynote speaker (I do a great International Women's Day keynote *wink wink*), I’d love for you to pass it along.
With gratitude + delight,
Salima Valji
You're talented, capable, and doing great work. And yet, every time your boss walks into the room, something shifts. Your stomach tightens. You go on autopilot. You say something you later wish you hadn't. And then you spend the rest of the day rebuilding yourself until you feel like you again.
